About Us"The Church needs to know of the what, why and how of Visual Media Evangelism to get STRENGTHENED to PROCLAIM the Gospel to the masses".Galilean International Films and Television Services (“Galilean”) of India was established in the year 1978. Its objective is to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through visual media such as films, videos, television and satellite programs for harvest-oriented communication. It produces indigenous products relevant to the cultures and languages of the people. It organizes Tele-Evangelism, film/video festivals and crusades, video Bible-study programs, Visual Media Evangelism seminars and other related activities. The ministries of “Galilean” assume mathematical proportions in a most populous country such as India which is highly illiterate and which has a strong oral tradition of communication encompassing a wide variety of musical styles, dance forms, story-telling techniques and stage performance formats. The Gospel can be presented using these culturally relevant genres through visual media products such as films, videos and television programs for optimum outreach .The Church in India has to see this vision for mission. It needs to know of the what, why and how of Visual Media Evangelism to get STRENGTHENED to PROCLAIM the Gospel to the masses. |
